SHADOWS BY ADOS.

Like nosy flies,                     smearing light like silhouettes, making turns like pirouettes.   Activating darkness with turbulence. Like tiny mosquitoes,  with sharp proboscis,              Sharp enough to waken the senses.                                      Strong to move hands to scratch it. They are ados,  that creates shadows,                    at varying angles,                           till they finally meet like triangles.

A STAR HIT THE GROUND.

It was just like yesterday,  I turned around and found you behind me. You had this look on your face. It made me blush and smiled  Since then you became my blood. It's almost seven years. The burdens you had to bear. No one may had seen your silent tears. You were always working  Never sowed the seed for idleness . You never stopped smiling  Always cheering. I can't imagine. Thinking of the lives you touched. You were a living ember. Igniting the torch, To help brighten forever.  Forever in our hearts.  Now we are down. But your name reminds us,  that God is with us.

SCORPION

Fearless dark Knight,  Following shades of a dark night. Quiet in the daylight. Condemning those at sight. He's been made a laughing stock. Forced to dig out rocks.  Works and never mocks, Soon to wear a dirty socks.  Known to never hurt a fly, Innocence can't show a sly. Never seen to make a sigh, When teased enough to fry. The day had come to present the dark black claws, and the plots he had laid in spawns. Till the city had been left in torns.

CRYSTALLINE

Limpid look like stones from Africa. Decked like stars in Aurora pyramid of hope. Arranged in bravais lattices, Reflecting colours of the rainbow. View the sky blue from water droplets. Ocean blue deep rooted. Orange sun, Greyish moon. Greenish leaves.  Colourful rays in a transparent world. What do you reflect?  Brownish skin? Reddish hair? It's a colorful planet. Ignore the molecules of pigments. For blood turns green under water. The body covers the spirit . The spirit has no colour. Crystalline humans we are. Beautifying the world with colours of light.

A SKY WITHOUT STARS.

Those times we sat outside, under a sky filled with stars, we looked out for shooting stars, to embrace one week of good luck. We never stopped looking at the stars. We could spot the ones with the dimmest light. Though they are thousands of light years away, It never kept them away. We tried to count them, But they were way to many. Mother would tell us which one was orion. We could see how outstanding she was. So many years had gone by, since we sat to count the stars. Didn't notice the stars had gone to sleep, not just for the morning, but for the night. Soon to forget the bonds that tied us, To count important the worthless things, We lost sight of those that gave light in our darkest hour. Those who made the dark long night beautiful. Now we look up to search for them, But they are no more. We covered them up with a dark sheet  And it seems they've gone to sleep. Twinkle twinkle little star, like the diamond you a...

WHERE DO RIVERS GO?

Right here at the balcony,                 there rings in my head a mys-te-ry.   Can I know the sound of my voice   when I hear it in my head? When I sojourn in the wilderness,      roaming around with no compass.    Can I trust my head when it says turn right or left? When I look at the mirror,      I see a figure appear with vigor.       A stranger with many networks.         Can you introduce yourself?    In my private space,                I try to dissect my mind. How can my mind control my mind.  Am  I tricking myself? It is obvious to see. I am nothing without my head.         Can I liken myself to a headless river  that knows the way? Where do rivers go?                       ...

THE SLAVE MASTER'S SONG.

'dey' brot me in chains,                                                         where 'dey' know not rain. 'dey' left me in bondage,                                                        while 'dey' guess ma age. Ma mama once told me,                                                              ya' gonna be great . But now me in chains,                                                             ...
