Held in the valley of volition,
The multitude that lacked discretion.
Drunk under the influence of deception,
Made the decision out of discombobulation.

Barabbas, the son of Abbas;
His name says, he is the son of the father.
The people had their druthers,
Yes, the criminal standing close to the father.

The cross in the middle,
awaits the one chosen by the people;
Its job was to hold darkness,
But what it saw coming was brightness.

What druthers should we have over Jesus?
The one who came, remained focus to save us.
Is it Barabbas that once used us?
Wrong decision in death could have us.
